Credit Information

Credit and grades

All credit hours are listed as 589R. For classes that specify, please indicate whether you would like the pass/fail or letter grade option.

After a participant completes registration and required course assignments, grades will be posted to the university system after August 21, 2014. If you need documentation before August 21, please email cw169@byu.edu to request a letter of completion.

Note: If there is any doubt whether a grade has been posted, you may call BYU Records Office at 801-422-2631. If you are registered for credit and do not attend the workshop, transfer into a different workshop, or request a refund, an E letter grade will be posted on your transcript indicating a failing grade in the class.

Transcript request

There are two options for ordering transcripts.

Option 1:

Order Transcript Online (recommended). You will need to have a BYU Net ID account and authenticate (log in) to place your order. If you do not already have an account, visit the BYU Net ID Creation page to create one. If you would like to order your transcript online, please visit http://saas.byu.edu/registrar/records/transcripts.php.

Option 2:

Order Transcripts by Mail/Fax. If unable to use the online ordering system, you may order bymail or fax using the printable transcript form: http://saas.byu.edu/registrar/records/transcripts.php.

Important Information:
Transcripts available to order:
-Electronic Copy ($5.00 each, certified PDF)
-Hard Copy ($6.00 each)

Transcripts will go to the adress(es) provided by you. Please make sure that you provide complete and accurate addresses.

Incomplete grade

An "I" (Incomplete) grade can be given for extenuating circumstances (serious illness, personal injury, death in the immediate family, etc.) only with instructor approval prior to the end of the workshop. An Incomplete Grade Contract Form must be obtained from the BYU Records Office, B-150 Abraham Smoot Administration Building (ASB). There is a $10 processing fee that must be paid at the BYU Cashier's Office, D-155 ASB.
